Bubbles have a unique way of speaking to all ages, abilities, and emotional states — without words. In my SEN Workshops (Special Educational Needs) and Bubble Therapy sessions, I offer a safe space for play, discovery, and meaningful connection through the gentle and powerful world of soap bubbles.
These workshops are designed for children, adults, and mixed groups. I’ve had the privilege of working with:
- children in schools,
- individuals on the autism spectrum,
- people living with Alzheimer’s or dementia,
- those healing from trauma,
- and therapists looking to enrich their work with sensory-based tools.

Whether in one-on-one sessions or small, inclusive groups, I create environments where bubbles become a bridge: between inner and outer worlds, between observation and interaction, and between calmness and curiosity.
A single bubble can invite slow, mindful breathing — or spark joyful, energetic exploration. Sessions unfold in many forms: from quiet observation to hands-on play, from creative experiments to reflective talk rounds that help anchor the experience. I use a wide range of tools from my Bubble Toolbox: hand-play techniques, fog-filled bubble magic, kinetic experiments, and immersive setups including light tables and the KIB system.
Bubbles offer a unique sensory journey that supports:
- relaxation and emotional regulation,
- communication and social connection,
- curiosity, creativity, and safe self-expression.
As a trained somatic therapist (but not a psychotherapist) and an educator with 20 years of experience, I deeply value working in collaboration with mental health professionals, educators, and caregivers to ensure the highest quality and most appropriate experience for every individual and setting.
I am also part of an international think tank for Bubble SEN-Workshops, and remain in ongoing exchange with colleagues worldwide — refining approaches, exploring new research, and continuously expanding how bubbles can best serve diverse emotional and sensory needs.
In every setting, the goal remains the same:
to create nurturing, meaningful experiences that inspire wonder and emotional well-being.
